NSW Underground Contractor Induction Training

Short Course

Lithgow, New South Wales (NSW), Australia

This training program was developed in response to a client request to provide new starters at NSW Underground Coal Sites with the knowledge and skills to operate safely in an underground workplace.

Competency Standards:

The standards on which the course is based are in line with current industry standards, BHP Billiton standards, Australian Standards and units from the Black Coal Competencies.<>/;p>

Participants are trained and assessed against the following units:

  • MNCC1001A Work Safely
  • MNCC1005A Comply With Site Work Systems
  • MNCC 1006A Conduct local risk assessment
  • MNCC1007A Communicate in the Workplace
  • MNCU1037A Escape From a Hazardous Situation Unaided
